Gourd Rattle Shaker , Turtle Medicine , Mother Earth , Animal Totem , Sound Therapy , Meditation Tool , Spiritual Journey ,Handpainted Gourd

This Turtle medicine gourd rattle was handmade by me. I have based the gourd a
golden yellow and then handpainted the Turtles and all the details using
different shades of green, yellow, white, and black. I wrapped the handle end
of the gourd using chocolate deerskin lace and then added a piece of dark brown
leather on which I hand cut the fringe. On the one side you can see where I
tied on a silver metal Turtle charm. Right where the fringe begins I tied on
some additional deerskin lace and put four yellow glass crow beads and four
Macaw feathers. I also inserted two Macaw feathers into the top of the rattle.
When I add things in four it is to represent the four directions and the
feathers to represent the winged ones carrying prayers to Creator. This gourd
is uncut so the seeds inside are the sound and it is on the softer side. If you
are looking for something loud, this isn't the rattle for you. It also has a
softer energy to it. It has been sealed, signed, and dated.
