Black Steel Chain and Leather Guitar Strap, Optional Spikes, Adjustable Length (up to 53") with Strap Lock

Tired of your regular canvas/synthetic guitar strap and want something more
interesting? Do you play guitar or bass in live shows and want to uphold a more
unique or theatrical appearance? Do you love heavy metal in all of it's awesome
forms? If you said yes to any of these then this strap is a perfect gift to
yourself, or a friend!

The metal chain is made from black-electroplated welded steel, which has a
very sleek look and is corrosion resistant. It's 1m (~39") long and has 2
leather "tails", each 15cm (6") long which, combined with the joining links,
give a total length of ~135cm (~53") which should be plenty long enough for
even the lowest-playing bassists! The length can be easily adjusted on the fly
by adjusting where the quick link attaches to the chain. The loose chain links
can then be cut off with bolt cutters, hooked onto the quick link or left to
jingle. Each strap also comes with a pair of quick-release strap-locks for
connecting to the guitar. All you need is a screwdriver to attach them to your
guitar in place of its current strap studs..

Leather tails can either be left plain if you'd prefer a more subtle look, or
they come spiked/studded as in the pictures above, or with a custom pattern of
your own design! Just send me a picture or a description of the pattern of
spikes you'd like in Etsy's messenger along with your order and I'll see what I
can do :) I only ask that no more than 15 spikes per tail due to space
limitations. Note: the pictures of the spikes and their patterns use some
3D-printed plastic templates to hold the spikes and are for demonstration
purposes only. You will receive tails made from leather which is much more
durable and looks waay better! Also, the leather tails in the first 2 pictures
with the brass studs is not the standard, it's just to demonstrate but was the
only one I had on hand. It is an available design though.

Despite common sense suggesting otherwise, these straps are quite comfy to
wear, and has been confirmed by some of my previous customers! They don't dig
in anywhere near as much as I first thought, though this may vary from
guitar-to-guitar due to their weights and person-to-person due to our varying
body builds. I've used one of these straps for ~4 hours straight at band
practice each week with my fairly heavy 5-string bass guitar and all was fine
apart from a mild ache that lasted for about a day after. This only happened
after the first time, so I guess I got used to it. Take care when putting the
guitar down though as the chain may smack into the guitar and possibly chip the
paintwork! You have been warned.

If you want a specific strap lock colour, the options are: chrome, black or
gold. Due to varying stock availability, the style will be random (knock-off
Schaller or flat circular), however you can ask for a specific style too and
I'll include it if I have it on hand.
